Parallel Worlds

Yesternight it rained and a storm quietly followed
Several worlds came crashing down and mine alone was swallowed
Heavy lightening demonstrated it's might
Thunderbolts presided over, almost the entire night
I felt so weak,so impotent
My very own self was disgusted at my sight
Kins of mine,prayed and prayed
But yet again,as it had to be
Words miserably failed
Frustrations grew as things turned severe
My insides lurched at every single death
Hoping against hope,I fought my despair
The act was confronted the very same night
The brave populace gave in a fight
The ones who taught of peace,
sharpened their knives and hummed a tune
consoling people,
promising a life,better after death

The night grew darker, darker by the dirt
of their clean satin
Soon the earthy brown lost it's presence
Superseded by the inevitable red
Noblemen wept,hid their impudence
acutely under the cloak of imprudence
But the night I lost my world
Another world had blossomed
A world which had a new axis to spin
A new world to see, many a worlds to win
Perhaps before being destroyed
A world was created.A parallel world
Pity,we couldn't meet
But.Can parallels ever?

Very beautifully expressed in so little words. Almost every word does justice to its presence and few metaphors are very apt. like:Noblemen wept, hid their impudence
acutely under the cloak of imprudence,
The ones who taught of peace,
sharpened their knives
A world which had a new axis to spin
